James’ brows arched.
He learned from Chuba and Zemrathat Morgott was the only living being who had the experience of battling Emperor Qadeer.
Naturally, Morgott would know more about Xanthakos.
James lifted his hand and undid the Three Treasures Formation. As the view switched, they could see how everything in their surroundings had been reduced to rubble.
Even the Thirty-Third Heaven’s landmark, the Tai Chi Grand Temple, was completely obliterated.
“Let me have a sip of your Chaos Absinthe. I need to calm down for a bit.”
Morgott stretched his palm out toward James.
James chuckled. “I was always the one who would ask others for free drinks.
“Besides, can you have the Chaos Absinthe at your current level of cultivation?”
Morgott clicked his tongue. “Consider this as a favor to me. Once we make it to the Forty-Ninth Heaven, I’ll treat you to some Wuia Wine.”
James smiled faintly and conjured two bottles of the Chaos Absinthe before him.
Morgott swiftly took one bottle and started gulping down the liquor. He did not seem to face any difficulty doing that.
James whistled. “I shouldn’t have underestimated you, huh?”
“Ha! That was delightful!” Morgott exclaimed as he lowered the bottle.
He paused briefly before saying in a low voice, “You might still fail to defeat Xanthakos even if you have mastered the Three Treasures Integration.”
James was about to sip on the liquor, but he stopped.
‘That bastard has unusual skills and extraordinary cultivation.” There was a distant look in Morgott’s eyes as he recalled past memories. “It is almost impossible to spot and exploit his weakness. What’s more, he’s much more cunning and calculative than you…”
“How could you use me as the standard here?” James cut him off and snorted.
“I’m simply stating the facts.” Morgott cast James a glance. “In the Forty- Ninth Heaven, he could use the Wuia Aura left behind by the previous Supreme Path and the Gate of Mystery to fight.
‘Those things make him invincible in that space. If we were to take the battle elsewhere, I could easily beat him to a pulp.”
James said pensively, “So, you’re saying Xanthakos is unbeatable in the FortyNinth Heaven, but he won’t be outside of it?”
‘That’s right.” Morgott gave a slight nod. “Actually, all five Path Emperors of the Forty-Ninth Heaven possess incredible powers. Each of them watches over one of the Supreme Path’s gates.”
James asked, “Aside from Xanthakos, what are the names of the other Path Emperors?”
‘The first Path Emperor is none other than the Lord of All Paths, Lord Goyo. He is a legendary figure. I haven’t met him before.” Morgott shrugged.
“Secondly, it’s Xanthakos, who watches over the Gate of Mystery. Thirdly, we have Emperor Cosimeon, who guards the Gate of Virtue.
“Fourthly, we have Emperor Zdravko, who has authority over the Gate of Creation. Lastly, it’s Emperor Stavros, who watches over the Gate of Wuia.”
James’ eyes narrowed.
He had heard from Chuba and Zemra previously about the four gates. They also mentioned that Yianni and Harper might be imprisoned in one of the gates.
Unfortunately, Morgott probably had not heard of these names since he was active at a much earlier time.
James asked a short while later, ‘The Five Path Emperors have all perfected their cultivation, right?”
“Those men don’t give a damn about cultivation at their level of power.” Morgott took a big gulp of the Chaos Absinthe. “However, it’s not entirely impossible for you to get rid of those Path Emperors.
“For instance, you can work on mastering the Five Spirits Integration next. After having the auras of the Five Primal Evolutions, you also need the Three Treasures Integration, the Limitless Body, and the Ultimate Serenity.
‘Then, you can easily decide the fate of those five Path Emperors.”
“Hold on. The auras of the Five Primal Evolutions?” James furrowed his brows.
“Aren’t the Five Spirits referring to the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys?”
“Who told you that?” Morgott frowned as well. “The Five Spirits refer to the auras of the Five Primal Evolutions, which are Taiyi, Taichu, Taishi, Tirta, and Taichi.
‘The Five Primal Evolutions were formed from Wuia. You need to combine their auras to help you form the Limitless Body.”
James was momentarily stunned.
Lesia’s voice rang in his head at that moment. “Master, I’m sorry. I made a mistake.
“Morgott’s right, though. He mastered the Three Treasures and Five Spirits in the past. He just didn’t proceed with the integration steps.”
James produced the Xyloria Tai Chi Pearl and held it out in Morgott’s direction.
