Mr. Warner Your Ex-Wife Is Brilliant By Paula – Mr. Warner Your Ex-Wife is Brilliant by Paula Chapter 366

Chapter 366

The reception started in the afternoon, and in the morning, Jane accompanied the three kids to play inside the estate. The estate was quite large, with a lawn that could accommodate helicopters, a golf course, various activity rooms, and a swimming pool.

During the noon, Jane swam with the three kids. In the afternoon, when it was almost time for the reception, she went upstairs to change her clothes and put on an exquisite makeup, waiting for Drake to come and pick her up.

Jane wore a moon–white long dress without any extravagant skirt or decorations, just a simple long dress. Paired with pearl earrings and a necklace, she looked elegant and stunning, catching everyone’s eyes.

When Drake saw Jane like this, his eyes lit up. He walked up to her and held her waist firmly. “Let’s not go!”

Hearing this, Jane was stunned. “Why not again?” She had already prepared herself, and not going would be a waste of her effort in dressing up.

“You look too beautiful, I’m afraid someone will have their eyes on you,” Drake’s voice was deep and hoarse, sending shivers down her spine.

Jane raised her eyebrows and looked at him impatiently. “What are you talking about? You’re the one who stands out everywhere you go, attracting everyone’s attention.”

Thinking about all those women who surrounded him, Jane felt resentful.

“Though you’re all outstanding, we are an old married couple. There’s no need for this,” said April, and it brought the two back to their senses. Jane blushed slightly, while Drake rubbed his nose.

“I’ll wait for you in the car,” Drake left, and Jane looked at April’s slightly bulging belly. “If you’re bored, you can play with the three kids in the backyard.”

April touched her belly, looking tired. “Forget it, I’m so tired. I’ll just lie down.”

“You can’t lie around like this all the time; giving birth will be difficult in the future, Jane advised her from her own experience.

“Ah, don’t bother me; go quickly. Your man can’t wait,” April urged Jane to leave.

With nothing else to say, Jane left without further ado. She picked up her dress and walked out of the living room.

In the car, Drake was already waiting. Jane got in, and he took the initiative to fasten her seatbelt. Then, he started the car, heading to the venue of the reception.

After they left, an unexpected guest arrived at the estate. It was Marina, but she was stopped by the security at the gate.

After the incident of chasing the two away before, the security immediately informed Jane upon seeing Marina. Jane had already instructed that no matter what, Marina was not allowed to enter the estate. She didn’t have to worry about Marina causing any trouble inside.

Marina appeared at the gate, dressed in a s*xy dress and carrying the latest fashionable handbag. looking stylish and charming. It was evident that she had a devious purpose for coming to the estate.

In the video, Jane clearly heard what Marina said to the security, claiming to be a family tutor

arranged by Courtney and asking for permission to enter. But Jane had already made it clear that no matter how much she insisted, she would never be allowed in.

Marina made a fuss for a while but was still unable to enter. Just as she was about to leave, the three kids in the estate seemed to hear the commotion and walked to the entrance.

Seeing the three kids, Marina’s mind turned, and she returned to the gate, speaking gently to them, “Zachary, I’m here to be your tutor. Can you let me in?”

Upon seeing Marina, Zachary’s handsome little face instantly turned cold, and he replied with a hostile tone, “I don’t want you to be my tutor.”

Zoe didn’t even bother to acknowledge Marina, while Zane’s clever eyes rolled, and he walked to Zachary’s side, whispering something to him.

After listening, Zachary’s eyes brightened.

Then, he looked at Marina again, and Marina didn’t know what Zane said, but looking at his cunning appearance, she felt that it was not something good.

Sure enough, the next moment, Zachary’s attitude changed after Zane’s words, and he said indifferently to Marina, “If you want to be our tutor, you have to pass the test we set. If you can complete the test, I will let you be our tutor.”

Jane heard Zachary’s words in the video and frowned slightly, feeling displeased.

However, at the next moment, she heard Drake’s deep voice in her ear, “Don’t worry, Zachary won’t let

her succeed.”

“Before you came, Zachary drove away many tutors.” This Jane was deeply convinced. When she first came to tutor Zachary, he was hostile to her and tried various ways to drive her away.

Moreover, Zachary changed his attitude only after Zane said something, and with Zane’s intelligence, he would not easily let Marina succeed in entering the estate.

Thinking about how the three kids might drive Marina away, Drake’s car had already stopped at the entrance of a high–end hotel.

After they got out of the car, the attendants immediately came forward to take the car keys, and the two of them headed to the venue.

During the journey, Drake also told Jane the purpose of the reception: to welcome a prominent figure from the Schmidt family in Berlin.

“Schmidt family, indeed a powerful clan.”

Jane nodded, no wonder they had such a grand reception for the guest.

“Invited guests, no need to be restrained,” Drake said lightly. He always believed in speaking with strength, and such flattery and politeness were meaningless to him. But as the host, he had to participate in such events unavoidably.

As they entered the venue, bright lights shone, and various extravagant and luxurious people were present. Jane recognized quite a few of them.

As Silverbourne’s richest man, Drake attracted the attention of numerous people as soon as he appeared. Many people enthusiastically greeted him.

Drake responded calmly, neither too enthusiastic nor too aloof. When he met familiar business partners, he would exchange a few words occasionally.

Jane accompanied Drake throughout, and this was the first time she stood with him in such a public occasion. As a result, they also attracted some attention, including those curious gazes from young ladies.

Jane didn’t look around, acting like a little woman accompanying Drake. Perceptive people wouldn’t bother asking about her identity.

But still, there were some people who didn’t know the immensity of heaven and earth and insisted on seeking attention.

“Mr Warner, what a coincidence. You usually disdain such occasions, but I never expected you to come today,” the man said with a hint of sarcasm.
