The next day, Jane woke up rubbing her waist, scolding a certain man’s vigor. Her old waist almost broke because of him.
After a difficult morning routine and finishing breakfast, Jane went to the company again. As soon as she got into the car, she felt an unusual sensation, as if someone was staring at her.
She looked around but didn’t find anything unusual, so she thought it was just her imagination.
At the office, the feeling of being watched disappeared, and Jane immersed herself in her work. At noon, another meeting was held, and when it was time for lunch, Jane ordered takeout.
The delivery arrived shortly, and Jane asked them to bring it directly to her office. Being busy with work, she left the takeout on the table and let the delivery person leave.
However, she didn’t hear the delivery person leaving, which made her feel strange. When she looked up, she saw Mildred, wearing a delivery uniform, pulling out a dagger from behind and lunging at her.
Mildred’s face was ferocious, and she was filled with strong resentment. “B*tch, I’ll kill you!”
Jane was momentarily stunned by Mildred’s sudden action but quickly reacted and jumped away from her as she came closer.

Seeing Mildred, who was still unwilling to let go of the dagger and gasping for breath, Jane understood why she had done this. It was all because of Annie.

Mildred cried and looked at Charles, her heart heavy with pain. “Husband, I want to see Annie. Please ind a way to save her.”
Upon hearing this, Charles sighed helplessly, unable to say anything.

Unfortunately, Mildred’s actions made Charles feel guilty towards Jane, and his heart was heavy.

When Drake arrived after hearing the news, everything was already settled. Mildred was directly detained, and after the evidence was collected and the investigation was completed, she was likely to face imprisonment.
Jane didn’t expect that, in such a short period, the Warner family would become like this because of
her.
But this was also karma. Everything was a result of Annie’s own actions.
After Drake arrived, he anxiously asked Jane if she was hurt. Once he learned that she was unharmed, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
