Sylvia narrowed her eyes at the man, he actually has children already.
“Are they your children?” Sylvia looked at Drake regretfully.
She could only look at him, no matter how hot he was. Hughes.
all, she would soon be Mrs. Matthew
But she’s still jealous of the woman who could be married to this handsome man.
Drake completely ignored her and shouted again, “I said, let go of my child.”
“They knocked me down and must be punished.” Sylvia raised her beautiful face stubbornly.
“Daddy, she was the one who ruined Zoe’s rose first Zach said immediately.
“Daddy, she’s a bad woman.” Zoe pursed her lips and her tears fell that melted Drake’s heart.
This woman dared to bully his little angel; she must face the consequences.
Without another word, Drake went to Zoe and embraced her.
“Zoe baby, don’t cry, Daddy’s here.”
Sylvia realized that Drake was not easy to mess with, but she was also angry. How could he care so
much?
“Ah!!!” A minute later, all of the people Sylvia brought were lying on the ground in pain, looking at Drake, still holding the child and standing upright. Several men suddenly appeared out of nowhere and beat her servants up.
Sylvia’s eyes became even colder, and she asked angrily, “Who are you? Do you know what will happen if you offend me? I’m the eldest lady of the Duke Potts family.”
She could not be affected by the man’s coldness.
During Matthew’s engagement party, Derek already felt that something was wrong with Matthew’s fiancé, what he did not expect is for her to be this bad.
“So what?” Derek’s eyes narrowed slightly, completely unflinching.
“Stand up and let’s go,” Derek told Zane and Zach who were still on the ground.
He was not afraid of Sylvia at all, but he would not provoke her too much. After all, she was going to marry Matthew soon, so they could not avoid seeing each other in the future.
“Who said you could leave?“, Sylvia roared, face turning green with anger, as Drake dragged his children away.
Unfortunately, all of her people were already lying on the ground, and she was alone against Drake. She could only watch him and her children leave.
Sylvia stomped her feet angrily, turned, and left to find Matthew.
Matthew was busy preparing for the wedding he had no interest in it at all. He was forced to deal with these matters. His mood was no better than his friend’s or fiancé’s.
“You said that you were bullied. Why would he do that to you?”
As soon as Sylvia mentioned a man with three children, Matthew knew it was Drake.
He knows Drake too much to believe that he would provoke Sylvia without a valid reason. It could be because of Sylvia’s ability to provoke trouble.
“Mat, it’s not because of his children. Humph, those wild children, I just plucked the flowers from the back garden. They dared to yell at me and even ran over to hit me. I thought I shall punish them, that man-”
“What did you say?” Matthew did not bother to let Sylvia finish her sentence. The moment he heard Sylvia plucking the flower, Matthew’s whole body shivered with anger.
Sylvia had never seen such a furious Matthew before, and she was taken aback.
“Mat, why are you so angry?” Sylvia asked with a puppy look.
However, Matthew did not take her pretentiousness seriously at all, his eyes were as fierce as an angry lion.
“Say it again, what did you do? You plucked the flowers in the backyard?”
With this question, Sylvia’s fear evaporated and she answered calmly.
“Yeah, I plucked the flowers in the backyard. I don’t like those gaudy roses at all. I want to plant the noble tulips, the only flower worthy of my status as a princess.”
Matthew’s eyes were burning with rage at her words.
“Mat, that woman left you. Why are you still thinking about her? I’m going to be your wife. Soon, I’ll be the mistress of this mansion too.” Sylvia said with determination.
Sylvia was not pleased with the woman she knew still holds Matthew’s heart, not at all. And if not for Matthew’s family reputation, she won’t be marrying him too. At all.
Matthew pulled his arm from Sylvia’s slender fingers, his eyes turning red.
“Don’t mention her, you’re not worthy!”
“Matthew!” Sylvia was indignant. She was the daughter of a duke. She should be treated like the princess that she is.
“Just go and don’t ever let me see you again” Matthew let out all his frustrations about the upcoming
marriage.
Sylvia was stunned on the spot. She did not Matthew’s reaction to be this intense.
Matthew couldn’t care less about the woman anymore.
He went to the garden and he saw the damaged roses all over the place.
He walked over it and stood in the center, heart aching and damaged like the roses.
“Uncle, are you sad?” Matthew was still standing in pain when a small voice interrupted his train of thought.
He looked up and saw Zachary standing not far away from him, looking at him with doubts in his
eyes.
Matthew immediately recognized him as Drake’s son, and the painful expression on his face instantly subsided.

“Stinky brat, why are you here?” The two of them had met a few times, and they were fairly close.
“Zoe likes these flowers. I’ve come over to see if there are still good ones. I’ll get one for my sister.” Zach said.
Zoe looked sullen when she returned. Zach felt very distressed and wanted to come over to see if there were any intact flowers.
Hearing Zach’s words, Matthew remembered what Sylvia said about the kids.
“Did that woman hurt you?” Matthew asked gently.
Zach was speechless for a moment, then he realized that Uncle Matthew was talking about the woman with a bad temper.
On their way back, after the scene in the garden, Zach told his Daddy how mean the woman was but Daddy warned him, he said that she was Uncle Matthew’s fiancé and they were about to get married, so he should be careful with what he said.
However, Zach just kept on muttering, wondering why the handsome and kind Uncle Mtthew wanted to marry such a bad–tempered woman.
Now that Zach is standing next to his Uncle Matthew, Zach fired his questions innocently.
“Uncle Matthew, do you want to marry that ugly woman?”
