“I guess those two must have already been killed by you. You must have done something to learn of this place from them,” Desmond said coldly.
Jack nodded as he honestly admitted it.
Desmond’s cold smile deepened even more, and his face was full of venomous hatred. He looked like he was about to attack at any moment.
“I thought that you would be focused on earning points in the Radiant Hall and that you wouldn’t cause us much trouble. It looks like I underestimated your courage!”
Jack laughed. He did not show much emotion, as if Desmond’s threats were nothing to him.

As he said that, Desmond started to take a step back.
Pascal frowned, realizing what Desmond wanted to do.
Jack laughed, “You keep on saying I’m no match for you, but what are you doing right now? Why are you trying to run?”
Desmond laughed, “Are you trying to provoke me? Just forget about it. Save such petty tricks for the idiots out there. You can’t defeat me, that’s the truth! However, killing you won’t be easy either. If you were so easy to deal with, Triton wouldn’t have died at your hands!”
After he said that, he shot a look at Pascal. The both of them started to retreat at the same time, and their goal was the transfer array!
Desmond did not think that Jack would be able to beat him, but he was not sure if he would be able to kill
Jack either.
