The Mans Decree Chapter 3772

Chapter 3772 Deceived

Yuliya glanced at Kai, then slowly began to dress herself.

“Do I really have to be naked to get treated?” Yuliya muttered.

Kai didn’t offer any explanations. Instead, he simply said, “Let’s get
going…”

Bianca was right behind Yuliya, explaining, “Yuliya, you were burning up
just now. We had no choice but to remove your clothes to cool you down;
otherwise, your body would have been scorched. I can assure you, Mr. Chance
didn’t do anything to you. He simply helped treat you and we all witnessed
it.”

Upon listening to Bianca’s words, Yuliya realized she might have been a bit
too emotional earlier. She quietly said to Kai, “Thank you…”

However, Kai did not pay her any mind and walked straight ahead.

Everyone followed Kai, heading deep into the polar region.

Several groups had already moved ahead, hence Kai and his team had to hasten
their pace to search for viable resources in the polar region.

Kai walked at a brisk pace, forcing Bianca and the others to take turns
supporting Yuliya in order to keep up with him quickly.

Throughout the journey, Kai was constantly on high alert. He was so attuned
to his surroundings that he could detect any danger in the vicinity almost
instantly.

Until the sky started to dim, Kai and his companions hadn’t encountered any
danger, let alone any people.

Upon noticing that Yuliya was struggling to keep going, Kai finally
suggested, “Let’s rest here for the night.”

Bianca nodded, then promptly arranged for the holy maidens to stand guard
and keep watch around the perimeter.

Yuliya, on the other hand, had collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.

“This place hardly seems like the immortal’s tomb. I didn’t feel any hint of
celestial energy.”

Kai glanced around, feeling somewhat puzzled inside.
If they were indeed at the immortal’s tomb, then there would undeniably be
remnants of celestial energy. Moreover, the weapons wielded by the immortals
and the various magical items they wore would surely be left behind.

The celestial energy here should be much more intense than in other places.

Yet, Kai hadn’t sensed even a hint of celestial energy.

This left Kai somewhat confused. Is this polar region really the immortal’s
tomb, or is it all just a lie?

“This place is nothing like the immortal’s tomb!”

At that moment, Vermilion Demon Lord began to speak.

Vermilion Demon Lord himself has spoken. It’s clear that this place is
definitely not the immortal’s tomb.

Kai couldn’t understand why Nieva would deceive him.

“Since this isn’t the immortal’s tomb, why did we come here?”

Kai was utterly astonished.

“Kid, didn’t you notice the chaotic energy here? Even the entire space seems
distorted. The magnetic field here is incredibly strong. I’m afraid it will
be quite difficult to take flight in such conditions,” Vermilion Demon Lord
said.

Kai furrowed his brows and leaped up.

No sooner had he done so than he felt a tremendous pull, drawing him
downward.

He descended rapidly and grew even more bewildered.

Initially, they had chosen not to fly, fearing it would make them too
conspicuous. Now, they were probably stuck here, unable to fly even if they
wanted to.

“Bianca…” Kai called out. He wanted to ask if Bianca was also unaware of
the matters concerning the polar region.

“Mr. Chance…”

Quickly, Bianca moved in front of Kai.

“Is this place the immortal’s tomb?” Kai asked.

Bianca was taken aback for a moment, then quickly shook her head. “No…”

“No?” Kai was shocked by Bianca’s honesty. “If it’s not, then why did your
head tell me this was the immortal’s tomb and ask me to lead you all here in
search of treasures and resources?”

“Mr. Chance, please don’t be upset. Ms. Nieva did not intend to deceive you,
but rather to deceive others.”
