”Chuck, what are you talking about? I’m your coach, why are you saying this to Miss Scarlet?” In that moment, Liliana was angry, her face flushed from embarrassment! She was extremely mortified! She thought that Chuck would propose for her to continue being his coach, but he requested for Miss Scarleh instead?
Miss Scarlet was astonished! She did not expect that Chuck would actually request for this! Why did he want her to be his coach?
”I think you’ve made a mistake. My mother has suggested that I enter into the Wolfen Sect and learn combat skills from Miss Scarlet,” Chuck said bluntly.
Liliana was furious. ”Chuck, you’re such a jerk. You’re burning your bridges!”
”So what? I have no intention of using that ‘bridge’ again. Mind you, you did not teach me combat!” Chuck questioned coldly.
”I… I…” Liliana felt as if something was lodged in her throat and she stomped her feet. ”Chuck, don’t regret what you said today!”
”I won’t! Ever!”
Liliana’s face was beet red from the embarrassment and humiliation. The coaches below the ring laughed mockingly at her. Even the group of freshmen ridiculed her. Liliana’s anger had reached its boiling point. This damned Chuck had a well-thought-out plan all along! To humiliate her in public! Liliana would sear this mortifying moment into her memory!
”Alright! You said it!” Liliana said coldly!
”Yes, I said it!” Chuck stopped looking at Liliana.
”Miss Scarlet, this is my request!”
”You mentioned your mother just now. Who is she?” Miss Scarlet was curious. He could defeat Hubert at such a young age! His talents must be inherited!
”The explanation can wait. Anyway, this is my request.”
Miss Scarlet hesitated for a few seconds. ”I don’t usually accept any students, but since you have requested it, then be my guest.”
”Alright, thank you.” Chuck shrugged.
Liliana was utterly dissatisfied. She could never redeem her dignity again! ”Chuck! I, Liliana Lowe, have found you pleasing to the eye and I wanted to coach you properly. But right now, you have very well incurred my wrath!” Liliana cursed inwardly.
”Go and get ready. Go to my mountain and you will stay with me there as my student!”
”Got it!” Chuck stepped down from the ring.
The freshmen were filled with envy and jealousy. He had become a student who was privileged enough to stay together with the most beautiful coach in the Wolfen Sect. They would sleep and eat in the same space! Was this any different from staying under the same roof?
”It must be Chuck that night!” Gaige was furious. Chuck’s request had obviously revealed it! It was Chuck who had gone up to the mountain with Gaige that day. Since Gaige had been discovered by Chuck, the latter had then rendered him unconscious!
Miss Scarlet then asked Liliana, ”Coach Liliana, what is your request?”
”I…” Liliana was overflowing with resentment towards Miss Scarlet. ”I want Chuck to leave the Wolfen Sect. Is it possible?”
Miss Scarlet frowned and said, ”Your request ought not include other people!”
”I will keep this request of mine in my head!” Liliana snorted and said. Then, she stormed away in anger. She left behind a group of envious students!
Hubert, who was critically injured, clambered out of the ruins. He stared at Chuck begrudgingly. ”Chuck, I’m not through with you yet!”
”Chuck! You want to leave, but have you gone through me?” Liliana chased him to his dormitory!
Chuck began to pack his things. He had been in the Wolfen Sect for five days already. He must seize the time! Not carrying a mobile phone with him, he did not know what had been going on outside. He also wanted to find out how Yolanda and the others were doing. Therefore, Chuck did not want to waste any more time.
”Why should I go through you?” Chuck asked coldly.
”Chuck! You bastard! You made me look like a fool just now!” Liliana’s eyes were full of resentment. The freshmen’s mockery was still vivid in Liliana’s mind!
”So? Do you want to fight me?” Chuck asked, his tone impassive as he approached Liliana step by step!
Liliana was startled! Chuck was so powerful that she did not have the confidence to say yes!
”I’ll tell you what, one must have self-awareness. You are incapable of teaching me anything!”
”Who said that? Who was the one who allowed you to enter into the Wolfen Sect? You would not be able to enter without me!” Liliana was enraged at Chuck’s ungratefulness!
”Yes, I can!”
”Are you dreaming? Without me, you wouldn’t even get into Wolfen Sect at all! How could you treat me like this?” Liliana was bristling at the thought of it!
”I think I have been kind enough to you. Last time in the hospital, I could have crippled you and Gaige, but I let you go!” Chuck had been consumed by anger that day. Extremely, indescribably angry!
”You…!” Liliana fumed.
”Hmph, Chuck, you’re really full of yourself. Do you even have the strength to cripple the two of us?” Gaige stepped forward! He closed the dormitory door and locked it.
”Gaige!” Liliana’s confidence rose.
”Tell me, did you knock me out that day in the forest?” Gaige asked Chuck as he approached him slowly.
”I did! So what? Do you want me to knock you out again?” Chuck smiled.
Gaige was incandescent. ”You’re really looking for death!”
Boom! It was Gaige’s angry punch! He was prepared this time. He would not allow himself to be knocked out cold again like last time!
”Do you know that your punch is awfully poor?” Chuck shook his head in disappointment and returned Gaige’s punch!
Bam! Chuck hit Gaige’s cheek in the same position! ”Argh!” Gaige screamed and flopped to the ground like a piece of garbage being tossed out. Before he fainted, he finally realized that he was far below Chuck in terms of combat skills! All said and done, he was defeated by Chuck in a single punch!
Liliana was extremely shocked! Gaige was knocked out again! ”Chuck, did you just hit my brother?” Liliana rushed forward, maddened. She threw her punch! However! Chuck remained unmoved!
Slap! He grabbed her fist strongly! It was that effortless! Liliana was stumped. She was defeated instantly! Her face was in pain!
”Don’t you know that your skill is very poor? With your current ability, do you still have the nerve to teach me? Talk about thick-skinned!” Chuck shrugged his shoulders.
”Chuck, how dare you criticize me?” Liliana was furious and a gust of wind blew across her face! It was a slap! He was going to slap her on her face!
”Ah! Don’t!” Liliana screamed! She closed her eyes. However, she did not feel any pain. She trembled and opened her eyes to see Chuck’s hand on her cheek.
”What are you doing?” Liliana’s lips shivered. If he had slapped her, how could she face others?
”Examining how thick-skinned you are!” Chuck pinched her cheek.
Liliana was extremely angry. ”Scumbag!”
”You may be thick-skinned, but it’s still tender to the touch! Forget it!” Chuck threw her away casually.
Liliana fell to the ground. She was incandescent. As a coach, how could she be pinched in the face by a student like Chuck? She was really angry, but she was no match for Chuck!
”You don’t want to be my coach anymore, right?” Liliana blushed and snarled, ”Leave!”
”You said it yourself,” Chuck said as he left with his luggage.
”Gaige, Gaige, wake up!” Liliana shook the unconscious Gaige. It was impossible for Gaige to wake up so quickly. Liliana was furious. ”Chuck, I’m not done with you yet!”
