”I-I don’t know how to put it into words. I…” Sabina’s head was spinning. Was it because the next day’s events were too important that she couldn’t calm down?

“What if…” Alfred hesitated.
“What if what?” Sabina pressed on.
“We also don’t wish for you to be depressed all day long. That is why I‘m skeptical. Miss Yeager, did you actually see Chuck firing that bullet?” Alfred asked.
Sabina was dumbfounded. “Alfred, what do you mean? How could she see the shooter from such a long distance?”
“I don’t think it is possible either. I understand what Alfred means too. You mean that Chuck might not have been the one firing the bullet, right?”
“Yes, that is possible.” Alfred nodded in agreement and continued, “Is it possible that someone else fired the shot? The man lost his gun and Chuck happened to pick it up and then you happened to see him?” Sabina was stupefied!
“Alfred, such a possibility is very slim, isn’t it?” Some of them were doubtful.
”But it is still possible! If we didn’t see Chuck firing the bullet, how can we be sure that it was him? Maybe someone has ulterior motives? We all know how many enemies we have. After all, what reason does Chuck have to shoot Miss Yeager?” Alfred was certain of his opinion.
”This…” The entire Yeager family turned to look at Sabina.
”Miss Yeager, what do you think?” Alfred asked.
”I-I don’t know.” Sabina shook her head. Her mind was in a mess.
”Miss Yeager, why did Chuck go behind the mountains of the Yeager family? Have you met him before?” Alfred continued to question.
”He knew that I was there looking for Grandpa,” Sabina answered.
”Then, is it possible that Chuck was worried about you, so he sneaked behind the mountain of the Yeager family?” Alfred suggested.
Sabina was puzzled.
”Alfred, you are getting more and more outrageous. Is it even possible? Will Chuck be worried about Miss Yeager? That‘s impossible!” More people questioned his theory.
”Miss Yeager, you should know better yourself. That is all I can say!” Alfred sighed.
”Yes,” Sabina answered absentmindedly. “Will Chuck go behind the mountain of the Yeager family to save me? But why was the gun in his hand? Why?”
”Miss Yeager, perhaps there really might be someone with ulterior motives who was one step ahead?” Alfred added.
”Ulterior motives?” Sabina’s beautiful eyes were shining.
