Chapter 894
“Chuck!!” Betty grabbed Chuck’s hand, trying to calm him down. It was not the right time to be blinded by rage. Mistakes would occur if one were blinded by rage.
“Chuck, I know you have a heavy burden on your shoulders, but please calm yourself down.” Betty burst into tears. Since he came back to the country, Chuck hadn’t smiled at all. Day after day, she watched Chuck’s face. The hatred in his eyes had accumulated until the point that it was about to burst out.
“I know, Betty, don’t worry.” Chuck came to his senses. It was the only chance Chuck had to avenge his mother and the others. Chuck couldn’t afford to make a mistake.
“I believe you can do it,” Betty assured.
Chuck suddenly turned his head and said, “Betty, I want you to remember every single word I’ve said.”
“Okay, Chuck, I will remember every word precisely and clearly.” Betty promised.
“You probably think that what I’m doing is very risky. If I kill Sabina then the Cannon family will defeat the Yeager family and the Cannon family will inherit all of my mother’s property. If this happens, I’m going to lose regardless. Is that what you’re thinking?”
“I… Yes, but I will abide by all of your orders. No matter if it is right or wrong, I will do as you say,” Betty muttered with tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Betty, if I were to tell you that I have found out the intentions of the Cannon family a long time ago. Are you surprised?”
“Not surprised. Chuck, you’re President Lee’s son! Not only did you inherit President Lee’s combative genes, but also her wisdom.” Betty had always thought that way. Suddenly, it dawned on her.
“Chuck, what do you mean?”
“That’s right. I know the intentions of the Cannon family, and I know what Sabina is thinking…” Chuck’s eyes gleamed with anticipation.
“Chuck, you?” In a trance, Chuck was silent, which made Betty feel as if she was watching Karen fall deep into her thoughts.

There was a rumble. The Cannon family’s helicopter had ascended above the hills. It continued to descend. A pavilion had been set up there. It was the location of their meeting.
Osford, Luqman and Xandra were all present. They had arrived at the pavilion. “Grandpa, Sabina and the others will arrive soon. The surveillance team has spotted the Yeager family’s helicopter,” Xandra reported to her grandfather.
“Great!” Osford could no longer contain his excitement. “Where is Chuck?”
”Karen’s company has developed a kind of glass that can camouflage with its surroundings. It’s also a display screen. He is going to use this kind of display screen to camouflage himself.” Xandra knew of his plan in advance. Osford grunted in acknowledgement although he didn’t seem to care. There was a further rumble.
A luxurious plane flew over.
”Grandpa, Sabina is here.” Xandra was excited.
”Very well, get everyone ready,” Osford ordered.
”Grandpa, don’t worry. The moment Sabina steps out of the plane, there is no way she can leave.” Xandra’s eyes gleamed with glee. Xandra had been sleep-deprived because she was anxious that something unexpected might occur on that day. They mustn’t make any mistakes.
The rumbling noise grew louder. Finally, the plane landed. From the plane, a few people disembarked.
”Is that Sabina?” Osford enquired. Leading the entourage was a woman. She looked like she was only in her twenties. Nonetheless, she looked aggressive.
”Yes, that’s Sabina. She’s here,” Xandra confirmed.
Osford grinned and he walked out. It wasn’t easy to get her to meet him. ”Miss Yeager, nice to meet you!” Osford greeted her with a faint smile.
Sabina’s beautiful eyes twinkled. ”This place is not bad.”
”This is a scenic place with beautiful scenery. If you like it, I can give it to you “Osford chuckled.
”That won’t be necessary. Let’s get to the point. How do you want to form an alliance?”
”Of course. The Yeager and Cannon family are definitely going to form an alliance.” Osford grinned at her.
”Tell me, how do you plan to collaborate?” Sabina asked calmly.
”We will combine forces and go against the Whitlock family…”
”Combine forces? If I understand correctly, the Cannon family is going to destroy the Yeager family before defeating the Whitlock family. Isn’t this your intention?” Sabina interrupted.
”Miss Yeager, how can you say such things?” Osford retorted. Nonetheless, he kept the smile on his face.
Meanwhile, Xandra sneered while Luqman remained stoic as ever.
”Well, let’s be honest with each other. Ask your subordinates to step out,” Sabina said.
”So, you know that there’s a trap today.” Osford smirked.
”Yes, I’m not stupid. It’s obvious why you suddenly asked to meet up. Well, I have the exact same plan as you have. Who do you think will be victorious?” Sabina’s beautiful eyes were ice-cold.
”What do you think? This place belongs to the Cannon family. What can you do?” Osford uttered furiously.
”Well, don’t think that way. Are your subordinates not willing to come out? If they aren’t, I will have to ask my people to drive them out.” Sabina spat coldly.
All of a sudden, something happened. Someone fell from a big tree! It was a man dressed in black and he was a subordinate from the Cannon family. Just like that, he fell to the ground and died.
Osford was furious. Didn’t they plan everything perfectly? How could the man be assassinated? Luqman was dumbfounded.
”You think I don’t know what you’re planning? You think I would agree to meet up with you without making any preparations? You really underestimated me,” Sabina mused indifferently. She had already sent someone to secretly scout the place. Everything had been planned beforehand. After all, she was very skilled at assassination. Therefore, she personally designed the plan. She was determined to demolish the Cannon family. This was because the Cannon family was courting death.
”You killed only one of my people. Come out!!” Osford was furious. Suddenly, a loud whirring sound filled the air. The trees around the top of the mountain began shaking.
Meanwhile, Dozens of helicopters appeared in the air. Nonetheless, Sabina remained expressionless. ”You did this?”
”What do you think? In order to bury you here, I’ve spent a lot of effort. Oh right, do you know who brought this?” In contrast to Osford’s expression of glee, Xandra and Luqman were both calm. No matter how much preparations Sabina made, it was useless. It was just a last-ditch effort.”
“Who brought it up? Was it not you?” Sabina frowned. The people behind her whispered. Wasn’t Osford the one planning all of it? Was there someone else?
“Looks like he’s quite capable. He’s the one who led you here and you don’t even know it was him!” Osford said with a laugh.
“Someone else planned it?” Sabina’s beautiful eyes were ice-cold. When she realized who he was, anger burned in her heart.
“Yes, I‘m telling you. The reason we’re meeting up here is all thanks to him. He’s going to kill you today. You don’t even know who he is? It’s alright, I’ll tell you.” Guffawing, Osford called, “Chuck, where are you? Your enemy, Sabina, is here! Why don’t you come out?”
