Knowing that Courtney was willing to use Annie to break her and Drake apart, a coldness filled Jane’s eyes. She wanted to see what other schemes Annie could come up with.
After reaching an agreement with Courtney, Annie went directly to Warner Group to find Drake. When Annie arrived, Drake initially refused to see her. However, she used the excuse that he cared about the most, and Drake had to meet her in the lounge.
“Speak, what do you want?” Drake appeared, his face cold as he looked at Annie.
Annie turned around to face Drake, her face no longer showing the admiration and flattery she used to have.
“Drake, I mentioned three things for you to agree to before. I will tell you who that woman is, and the third thing I want you to do is to divorce Jane. As long as you divorce her, I will immediately tell you who the person that accompanied you in your dark times, the White Moonlight, really is,” Annie said.
“It’s impossible,” Drake immediately rejected without hesitation as soon as Annie’s words fell.
Hearing Drake’s response, Annie felt a jealous resentment. Why could Jane have Drake’s deep love while she, who had planned for so long, ended up with nothing?
“Do you not want to know who that person is, who accompanied you through your dark times?” Annie’s voice grew louder and somewhat hysterical,

Jane learned about Annie’s arrest from Charles Carlton. Charles called her to ask if she had reported the incident and had Annie arrested by the police.

An hour later, Jane sat in Drake’s car. The man was dressed in a decent suit, looking capable and exuding a hint of dominance.
After Jane got into the car, she hesitated for a moment before asking Drake about Annie.
Drake wasn’t surprised by Jane’s question and told her about Annie coming to find him and using that as a pretext to threaten him with divorce.
