Chapter 847
It was the ultimate showdown! The fight took place on top of the wrecked bridge. The two of them were fighting at close quarters!
All of a sudden! Eleanor’s fist landed on Karen’s broken arm and she broke into a small smile.
Crack! The cast that was holding it together fell apart. Karen’s arm was dislocated till the point that the fractured bone could be seen. Once again, her arm fell limply to the side! It physically hurts just to look at it.
”I must say, your combat skills are impeccable. You’re the strongest person I’ve ever met in my life. If your arm isn’t broken, I can’t be certain if I can beat you. It’s a pity that I can’t disobey Miss Whitlock’s orders. You must die an accidental death, so I have to blow you up! Well, at the very least, I was able to have fun just now!” Eleanor admitted truthfully in her excitement. Her excitement was fuelled by her sparring with Karen. Fighting with Karen, she felt as if she had met her match.
Karen stared down at her broken arm in silence. Then, she put it behind her back without any sign of pain. She was fighting against Eleanor with one hand!
Eleanor’s faint grin turned cold. ”I’ll give you three seconds to wipe away the blood on your head. It’s ugly!” said Eleanor mercifully.
Karen reached out her hand to wipe the blood from her forehead. The blood had already dyed her sleeve crimson red. However, it did not make her seem any weaker. After all, she had been standing upright with a stoic expression face right from the start. Her expression hadn’t changed because of the blood! Additionally, she showed no sign of pain due to her injury! She was a living statue. Fearless in the face of danger, her refusal to surrender was simply heroic. After all, she was Karen Lee!
”Three seconds have passed. Let’s continue!” Eleanor smirked lightly. Karen was only using one hand against her! The more Eleanor fought, the more thrilled she became. Her current opponent made her feel different than others had. She found it ridiculous that it was a middle-aged woman in her forties that made her feel that way.
All of a sudden! Eleanor’s fist descended! In the face of danger, Karen did not waver. Instead, she raised her fist to meet hers!
Bang! The hands of the two women collided. However, they seemed to be on equal footing Eleanor’s brows were tightly knitted together as she retracted her fist. There was actually a trace of pain! Her fist was capable of shattering a rock. However, she experienced pain when she fought Karen.
Meanwhile, Karen wore no expression on her face! Chasing after Eleanor, she threw a punch with her only hand!
Bang! Eleanor took a step back. Had she actually been forced back? wondered Eleanor incredulously. Instantly, her expression became ghastly. “I guess, it would have been really difficult to deal with you if your head and arm weren’t injured. However, you don’t have the chance to make it difficult for me anymore!” She counterattacked with both fists. She attacked with all her might as a top-tier fighter.
Karen, who was only using one hand, retreated expressionly.
All of a sudden! Eleanor kicked out with her leg! Karen blocked it with her fist! ”You’re looking down on this move of mine! Go down!” Eleanor smiled faintly and kicked at Karen’s fist.
Karen squinted and retreated to the edge of the pier! She tried to steady herself, but things were not working in her favor!
”Go down!” Eleanor added another kick!
Karen was on the verge of falling down at any time. One of her legs was hanging in the air! A single gust of wind could blow her down! There was a raging river below! It was frighteningly fast! If she fell down, it would be a 20 meter drop. Anyone who fell onto the water surface would be rendered unconscious. Not to mention that a single wave could knock someone out. Therefore, if she fell down, she would definitely die!
”Still struggling to put up a last-ditch fight? It’s useless!” Eleanor sneered viciously. There was no way out for Karen! Eleanor pressed forward vehemently! There was no way for her to retreat! The only way out was to jump down.
”I can let you live a little longer if you beg me! Beg me!” Eleanor laughed wickedly.
Karen was the current number one expert in fighting. Yet, she was in such a sorry state in front of Eleanor at the moment! A depraved sense of pleasure filled Eleanor!
Nevertheless, Karen remained expressionless. She glanced at the fast flowing river below her, yet she was not afraid of the danger it posed at all. ”I don’t beg. I’ve only begged two people in my life and I won’t add you to the list!”
”Oh, then you still have some guts! Do you still have any last words? I’ll give you thirty seconds!” asked Eleanor, a hint of glee playing at her lips. She was intensely savage.
”I…” Karen fell silent.
”If it weren’t for Miss Whitlock’s instructions, I could have let you make a call to your son to tell him that you’re going to die! But since she wanted you to die an accidental death, you definitely can’t do that!” Eleanor explained in a sickening manner. The truth was she really wanted to see Karen say her last words to Chuck! It would certainly be interesting to watch.
”I wonder what your son Chuck is doing now. Maybe he’s playing around? That’s even more interesting! Alright, it’s been 30 seconds! Go down!” With a giggle, Eleanor launched a kick at Karen.
However! The moment she extended her leg, Karen shut her eyes and took a step back. Her body fell down from the pier! It was like a statue falling!
Bang! Karen fell from the sky and landed on the water surface! The surrounding river water was dyed red!
Puff! A huge wave drowned Karen! From above, Karen’s body didn’t move and it seemed that she had been knocked unconscious. She sank rapidly and in the blink of an eye, she was nowhere to be seen. The only thing left was the rapidly dissipating pool of blood!
Eleanor’s smile was feral. After watching for a long time, Karen didn’t break through the surface. Therefore, Eleanor concluded that she must have drowned in the water. She had been washed away. Eleanor forcefully pushed Karen’s car down the bridge. She had to make sure it looked like an accident.
Crash! The car fell into the water. It sank to the bottom as well.
”You fell from such a high place. Your head is injured and your arm is broken so you must’ve died! I’ve already let you die a meaningful death! Rest in peace! Your son, Chuck, will never know about this! Never!” Eleanor thought to herself.
Then, Eleanor called Adriana’s bodyguard. ”Hey, Karen is dead! The task has been completed!”
