Chuck put away the cat mask and everything that Willa had left for him. Then, he thought for a long time. He pondered how to avenge Karen, Willa and Black Rose. Nevertheless, he absolutely couldn’t be impulsive. He had to be meticulously careful. After all, if Chuck died before he could get revenge, it would be a dishonor and an unfilial act to Karen.
Chuck knew that it was impossible for him to surpass the Yeager family even if he worked hard for his entire life. Neither did he have the time to waste away his whole life. It was because the strength of the thousand-year-old Yeager family was astonishing and terrifying. The Yeager family was like an unbeatable obstacle. Simply relying on his strength to surpass them would be too difficult. He could not avenge Karen, Willa and Black Rose in a day.
At the thought of that, Chuck could not fall asleep and he lost his appetite. Therefore, Chuck currently had two options. The first option would be to abandon Yvette and marry Adriana, which was what Chadrick had suggested previously. Then, he could use the power of the Whitlock family to confront the Yeager family. That option had the highest chance of success. After all, the Whitlock family was the first and greatest hidden family. There was much room for dispute about the outcome if the first family went against the second family. It was highly plausible the Whitlock family would prevail. When the time came, Sabina would undoubtedly die. However, Chuck didn’t want to choose that path. He only had a number of loved ones left. How could he abandon Yvette and rely on Adriana to confront Sabina? Chuck could never do something like that.
The second option was to get in touch with the third hidden family, the Cannon family. Once he contacted them, they could work together. That was the fastest method. Chuck had been considering that option for a long time.
”Are you really going to work together with the Cannon family?” Betty asked, worried for him. That plan seemed to be like playing with fire. If he was not careful, he would be swallowed by the flames.
”Yes. This is now my method for confronting Sabina! If I got my hands on the Yeager family, I wouldn’t want anything but Sabina. Wouldn’t the Cannon family agree to this?”
”That makes sense. However, Young Master, you have to be careful! Nothing is so simple!” Shaking her head, she continued, ”President Lee seemed to be unhappy with the Cannon family when she was alive. She wanted to keep a distance from them. Clearly, the Cannon family is not easy to work with.”
”I know,” replied Chuck. ”However, if I don’t do this, wouldn’t it take years for me to become stronger? I’m willing to train tirelessly for years, but would Sabina allow me time for that? All of a sudden, Betty’s heart ached for Chuck. All the pressure was on Chuck. He had a hard, difficult decision to make. ”I know. Whatever decision you make, I will always support you!” Betty said.
”All right. Is there any way we can contact the Cannon family? I want to talk to them. If we can’t reach an agreement, then don’t stop me, Betty. I will inject the medicine and kill the Yeager family myself!” Chuck glowered. If the Cannon family refused to cooperate, Chuck would have to resort to extreme measures.
”I…” Betty finally sighed. The pressure on Chuck was too great. His thought process had changed. Different from the past, it currently revolved around the people by his side.
”Betty, go and help me look for the Cannon family!”

Yvette gazed at him gently. ”Honey, I never regretted meeting you.”
”Me too.” Chuck looked straight ahead as he thought, ”Sabina Yeager, just you wait!”
Meanwhile, in the Whitlock family… ”Miss, given Eleanor’s efficiency, Willa should be dead already,” Adriana’s bodyguard leisurely commented.
”Of course. I’ve always believed in Eleanor. After all, she killed Karen! Willa isn’t nothing in comparison!” Adriana replied lazily.
”Then, after Eleanor kills Chadrick, Yvette Jordan…”

”I’m just afraid that Chuck will target Sabina instead of the Cannon family. That wouldn’t be as interesting. Chuck’s target being the Cannon family would be the most meaningful…” While Adriana was muttering to herself, Eleanor walked into the room.
”Miss!” There was no smile on Eleanor’s face. Cool as a cucumber, Adriana asked, ”What’s wrong with you? You’re not going to tell me that you failed, are you?”
”When I went to kill Willa, someone suddenly showed up!” Eleanor informed stonily, her expression was like that of ice.
