Chapter 886
”Yvette, what do you mean? Why would you say that? You and Chuck are doing well. Why did you say that you’re not willing to carry a child for him?” Zelda felt that Yvette was acting somewhat out of character today.
”It’s nothing. By the way, could you tell me what happened between you and Chuck?” Yvette asked.
”Well…” Zelda hesitated. Since Yvette asked, then she was just going to come clean. Zelda reiterated everything that had happened between her and Chuck.
Yvette’s beautiful eyes were filled with shock, rendering her speechless. She could only reply, ”Oh. ”
”Well, I… I’m sorry, I. ” Zelda said apologetically. Everything that happened between her and Chuck, to a large extent, was something that she could not control!
”It’s alright. I was too controlling back then,” Yvette said, a note of guilt in her tone. At that time, Chuck could only seek comfort in Zelda! As his wife, this was something she should not have allowed to happen.
Zelda lowered her head, seemingly guilt-ridden.
Yvette parted her on the shoulder and left.
Zelda was stunned. Why was Yvette unwilling to bear a child for Chuck? She would have done it in a heartbeat. Zelda felt like crying all of a sudden. She went downstairs and realized that Quinn had come over. Stunned, she hurried over to her and asked, ”Quinn, are you alright?”
”I bumped into Chuck’s wife, she told me. ” Quinn was a little hesitant. Yvette had approached her and asked her what happened between her and Chuck. She seemed very sincere. Quinn could not hold it in any longer. She was mentally prepared for Yvette to slap her! However! It did not happen! Yvette seemed baffled. She remained silent after hearing everything that had happened between Quinn and Chuck.
Chuck, that bastard, had done a lot of things behind her back! Yvette had been kept in the dark all this while.
”Don’t you think Yvette seemed to have changed after coming back?” Quinn asked.
”That makes the two of us. Maybe something happened to her,” Zelda said, a little worried. No matter what, Yvette was still Chuck’s wife! They did not want anything to happen to her.
”Alas, what happened to her?” They could not seem to put a finger on it!

”I was brought here to live with Chuck. I remember the first time I slept together with him on the same bed. I was five years old.” Unknowingly, Yvette made her way to a shabby house. Ever since Chuck’s grandfather had passed away. No one had lived in this shabby house. However, memories from her childhood flooded into her mind when she arrived at this old house.
Yvette smiled. ”He hugged me to sleep. I felt it was a little strange. He was only about three years old back then, but why did he hug me to sleep?”
”After that, I got used to it. From that day on, we slept together, studied together, went home together, ate together. We basically did everything together. We watched each other grow up. Now, look at us, everything is perfect.” Yvette was immersed in her own memories. She was reminiscing about how far she and Chuck had come. She smiled unknowingly. It was a genuine smile. Interesting memories flooded her mind.
”In the middle of it, I was lost. I even became worse. I did not treat him well. Fortunately, he did not give up on me and brought me back.”
”I regret that I did not give birth to a child for him. However, I may not have time… Honey, the one thing that I don’t regret in life is meeting you. I do not have any idea how I would turn out if it weren’t for you. Fortunately, I have you. But then, we are about to be separated.” Yvette sighed.
All of a sudden, she said calmly, ”Come out!”
”Hey!” A short-haired beauty walked out. It was Eleanor! Yes.
Chuck, Betty, and Yvette came back from the States. Eleanor, too, followed. However, she was too cautious and no one noticed her. However, at this moment, she was caught by Yvette.
”How did you know that I was here?” Eleanor asked with a smile.
”I had a hunch.” Yes, Yvette had a hunch that she was here. Her beautiful eyes were cold.
”Were you the one who killed Karen? Were you the one who killed my husband’s mother?” At this moment, she was cold!
”You’re right. I was the one who killed her!” Eleanor smirked.
”I thought that you and Karen didn’t see eye to eye. Shouldn’t you be thanking me for killing a person who you couldn’t kill for the rest of your life?”
”I’m not going to thank you. It’s because of you that my husband lost his mother! He is devastated!”
”Hah, why are you trying to pretend to be a saint? Karen killed your father! Haven’t you always wanted to kill her? You have me to thank!” Eleanor said, her voice icy.
Yvette remained silent for a moment before she said, “Yes, I admit, I’d always wanted to kill her. However, I had never thought of assassinating her! That’s shameless. She hasn’t been found up until this moment!”
Up until now, Karen’s body still hadn’t been uncovered! There was no hope. It had been too long. All of a sudden, Yvette was inundated with sorrow! Karen had been very tolerant of her. She was even willing to teach her. She had even encouraged her. However, she was assassinated…
”I can’t be bothered to continue with this conversation. You ought to be smart. Come back with me obediently!” Eleanor said as she approached her.
”Are you not going to kill me?”
”Oh, don’t worry, we’re planning to kill you. She has vowed to personally kill you!”
”She? I thought you worked for Sabina!” Yvette was shocked. Sabina was the head of the family. Why would her subordinate address her so casually then? It did not make any sense.
”Well, what do you think?” Eleanor smiled!
Yvette suddenly became angry. “Are… are you working for Adriana Whitlock? She was the one who ordered you to assassinate Karen, Willa and Black Rose, right?”
”Bullseye. But it’s a little too late for you to find out about it now.” Eleanor continued to smile.
”Adriana. Why did she have to do this? Why?” Yvette was out of control. Did that mean that Adriana was the one who attacked Willa? Willa probably knew that Adriana was too powerful, that was why she left on her own silently.
”Why? Karen always gets in the way of things, that is why she had to die! As for Willa, haven’t you realized that she is Karen’s backup? Oh, I bet you didn’t. She is a stand-in, of course, she had to die as well! As for the Black Rose, it was purely a coincidence. She asked for it!” Eleanor smiled.
Yvette was mystified. Chuck had initially thought that Sabina was the one who had murdered Karen!

Yvette retrieved her gun. Shots were fired. But not a single bullet managed to hit Eleanor!
”Your shooting technique is atrocious!” Eleanor gave a flying kick. Yvette had no time to shoot. She was sent flying before she knew it. She fell onto the ground with a loud thud. Yvette spat out a mouthful of blood and remained rooted to the spot!
”I’ve told you not to resist, but you refused to believe me. Look at you!”
”I’m going to kill you!!” Yvette’s voice was cold. She rushed forward. She had to use everything that she had learned during this period of time! She had to push herself to the limit! An average person would definitely be surprised.
However, Eleanor merely smiled and subdued her. ”You will be punished if you don’t listen to me. Have a good sleep. You will see Miss Adriana when you wake up. You will be very happy because not everyone is qualified to see her.” Eleanor smiled faintly as she pressed down with her fingers on Yvette!
Yvette could no longer struggle and she fell unconscious. She muttered to herself, ”Honey…”
