Chapter 887
Yolanda and Nancy were tied up. Within a pile of rubble. Yolanda’s hair was in a mess and so was Nancy’s. The two of them were tortured by Frieda. Frieda was a psychopath! Yolanda had a firsthand experience now. Nancy was crying out loud. Her face was covered in palm prints. This showed how stubborn Yolanda was.
Yolanda remained indifferent. Even though she was tormented by an inhumane person. This was Yolanda! The Yolanda whom Chuck trusted!
”Frieda, when do you think Chuck will be arriving? I can’t wait any longer!” Loomis expressed his excitement. He had been waiting for this day! He glanced at Yolanda and Nancy! Truth be told, he was more attracted to Yolanda than he was to Frieda. He did not want to waste this opportunity.
”Chuck should still be in the States. Even if he rushed over, he would only get here by tomorrow. Why are you in such a hurry?” Frieda asked coldly. Her sniper rifle was already in place.
”Don’t worry. Since Chuck will only arrive tomorrow, why don’t the two of us…” Loomis said with a faint smile. Frieda frowned. She understood what Loomis meant. She snarled, ”Get lost!” Loomis laughed heartily. He had gotten used to Frieda’s temper after so many days.
”Chuck is not as simple as you think! He might surprise you by showing up here today! We’d better prepare on the side of caution!” This was what Frieda had learned ever since she became an assassin.
Loomis shrugged. Anyway, it was not him who would do it. It was Frieda. Frieda aimed her sniper and surveyed her surroundings. She wanted to make sure that no one was lurking. ”Oh, yeah, I want to take down the assassin organization after killing Chuck this time. I want to be the head of the organization!” Frieda’s beautiful eyes flashed!
”That may be a feat, no?” Loomis felt that the organization was the largest assassin organization in the world. They had tens of thousands of assassins in the world! Furthermore, the boss of that organization rarely showed up. How was she going to replace him then?
”Difficult? Let me show you something. Do you know who is the boss behind the organization?” Frieda took out her mobile phone and asked.
”Of course.” Loomis smiled faintly. He was very interested in the boss of the organization. However, he had forgotten about it because something had cropped up.
”Do you know who the person in this picture is?” Frieda showed her phone to Loomis. Loomis looked at it. He was shocked when he saw the picture and asked, ”Who took this?”
”Me. She got drunk that day. I was the one who took the picture. Now that I have this picture, do you think I’m afraid that I would not be able to take her down? Do you think I’m afraid that I would not be able to be the head of the organization?” Frieda flashed him an evil smile!
”Frieda, you are awesome!” Loomis guffawed. He had found a powerful backer. Once they took over the organization, come what may, he could lay low for a while. He would then use the time to slowly improve his strength! He swore to himself, one day, he would return to the Yeager family! He was going to take over as the head of the Yeager family! That position belonged to him. It always has been!
”Don’t cry!” Yolanda said.
Nancy swallowed hard. She was terrified when she saw Frieda’s perverted smile. She had already been tortured.
”Will Chuck come to save us? Yolanda? I’m scared.” Nancy was scared out of her wits. She could not be as calm as Yolanda.
”Yes. I’m confident that Chuck will show up!” Yolanda had always regarded Chuck as a powerful man. However, She did not want Chuck to come over.
”When will he come? I’m scared.”
”Don’t cry! Chuck will come, but he will be in danger!” Yolanda shook her head.
Nancy closed her eyes in despair. What should she do?
”It doesn’t matter. Worse comes to worst, we die. It’s no big deal.” Yolanda looked away.
”Yolanda, since we are about to die, I want to tell you my last words! You should too!” Nancy said in despair.
”Alright, go ahead.”
”Actually, I have always felt that Chuck is very charming ever since I started working for him. Yolanda, what do you think?”
Charming! Yolanda was stunned. Nancy just said that Chuck was charming. ”If Chuck wanted to woo me, I would definitely agree to be with him,” Nancy said. She was about to die. She wanted to express her truest thoughts.
Yolanda was stumped. ”Are you being serious, Nancy?”
”I’m not afraid that you will laugh at me. I admire Chuck’s abilities and the fact that he is rich. Who wouldn’t like that?” These were Nancy’s thoughts.
Yolanda was speechless. ”Other people have money too!”
”None of them are as rich as Chuck! What about you? What do you have in mind? You’ve been working with Chuck for so long. Don’t you like that he is filthy rich?”
”I… I like money, but I like him not because of his abilities and the fact that he is rich. He gave me a chance and he trusts me! What I want is a future!” Yolanda said.
”Do you not like him at all? You’ve been a little distracted recently. Do you miss him?” Nancy, been-there-done-that of a woman, could understand. These were signs of longing. It was not that she missed her boss per se. Instead, it was because she missed Chuck! It was possible, for familiarity breeds fondness.
”Miss him? Maybe!” Yolanda wasn’t sure either.
”Do you like him?”
”I don’t know. I have never thought about this sort of thing. I have been too busy, but… whenever I think of him, my heart will feel much better. I really want to see him. Does this mean that I like him?” Yolanda inquired.
