Chapter 906
Eleanor returned to Adriana’s side. By then, she had already taken a good look at her surroundings. She didn’t think that there would be any problems during the wedding.
“Miss Whitlock, there’s nothing wrong with Chuck. He’s almost done with his preparations and it’s about time for him to arrive at the hall. The Whitlock family, the Yeager family and the Cannon family have all arrived,” Eleanor informed. Then, she added, “Miss Whitlock, you look so gorgeous today.” Eleanor was not good at sweet-talking but indeed Adriana looked exceptionally gorgeous that day. She was going to be the most beautiful person there because Adriana was the star of the day.
“Let’s move.” Adriana shrugged her shoulders and behind her formed a long line of people; it was as if she was about to ascend a throne! Eleanor shrugged her shoulders. They arrived at the venue. Chuck had already arrived with flowers in his hand. The groom was waiting for the bride.
Adriana smirked slightly. “He is quite handsome. I like it.” Because he was a martial artist, his figure was lean and masculine. He looked exceptionally dashing in the suit. In addition, Chuck’s suit was custom-made. It was one of a kind.
”Yes, he is the perfect match to you, Miss Whitlock.” Eleanor giggled in agreement. The handsome Chuck and beautiful Adriana were the perfect couple. She slowly walked over and faced Chuck.
Off the stage, Sabina’s beautiful eyes twinkled as she watched in silence.
Meanwhile, Osford stared at Chuck, who stood tall and upright, quietly. Even Osford himself did not understand why he was there. The only person he would congratulate was Adriana. After all, Chuck was not part of the Cannon family.
The entire venue was dead quiet and most of the people present were the Whitlock family members. Adriana was the head of their family, so how could they refuse to attend?
”We would like to invite the new head of the Whitlock family, Adriana, to step onto the stage,” the emcee said. As everyone watched, Adriana walked up to Chuck. Adriana had a faint smile on her face. It was a good day for her. She had become the head of the greatest family and at the moment she was marrying the person she loved.
”Miss Whitlock, today is the day of your wedding with Mr. Chuck. Please, this way!” said the emcee.
Adriana stood beside Chuck. The members of the Whitlock family were satisfied because in terms of appearance, they were a match. Even if they were not pleased, they did not dare to indicate in any way. The atmosphere was full of joy.
“Do you take Mr. Chuck as your lawfully wedded husband till death do you apart?” the emcee asked.
“I… I do,” Adriana declared, beaming.
Off the stage, there was a change in Sabina. She suddenly felt like she didn’t want to listen anymore.
“Miss Yeager, what’s wrong?” Alfred asked.
“It’s nothing.” Alfred fell silent for a while before he continued, “Miss Yeager, is it because you and Chuck have a little…That’s why you don’t feel comfortable now?”
“No.” Sabina shook her head and denied immediately. “Chuck and I are good friends. Even if we were to share a bed, nothing would happen to us. So, whatever you have in your mind is not true.”
“Miss Yeager, the one month we’ve given you will end in just a few days…”
“Yes… I know.” Sabina shook her head before she fell into silence.
“Actually if you really despise other men, you can consider Chuck. We have no objections,” Alfred said. Sabina was speechless. “Because you don’t like other people so you don’t want them getting close to you. But you are friends with Chuck. You should be able to take it if Chuck gets close to you right?”
“In any case, Miss Yeager, you should think it over. There’s not much time left.”
“I know, we can talk about this if we get out of here alive…” Sabina’s voice was so soft she was practically whispering. Ask Chuck to get her pregnant? Was that even possible? Could she do that?

”Mr. Chuck Cannon, are you willing to take Miss Whitlock as your lawfully wedded wife till death do you apart?”
Chuck’s deep eyes stared right at Adriana.
”Mr. Chuck, are you willing to…” the emcee repeated again. He asked because Chuck did not answer. How could he not answer?
”What’s going on? This Chuck doesn’t know what’s good for him. Why won’t he answer?”
”Is he dumb? He is lucky that Miss Whitlock took a liking to him and yet he is not replying?”
”He must be emotional.” The members of the Whitlock family were fuming as they whispered.
”Adriana, you’ve been looking forward to this day for a long time?” Chuck quizzed.
”Yes, it has been a very long time.” Adriana smiled.
”I only started looking forward to this day a few days ago.” Chuck said slowly, “I never thought this day would come.”
“Back then, I thought that there is no way that I’ll ever be with you…”
“Chuck, what are you trying to say?” Adriana was so furious that her eyebrows furrowed. Everyone fixed their gaze on Chuck, Why was he saying something so out of context?
“Mr. Chuck Cannon, are you willing to marry Miss Whitlock till death do you part?” the emcee repeated. His voice carried a threatening tone.
Chuck was misbehaving. “I’m not willing!” Chuck suddenly turned stony. He stared at Adriana and declared, “Adriana, I will not marry you!”
