Everyone had their eyes fixed on Chuck. Each and every one of the Whitlock family members mocked and scoffed at Chuck. How could a person try to stir up trouble in the Whitlock family alone? A loud collision filled the room. In a show of her true strength, she threw a harsh blow at him. Chuck’s bloodshot eyes were wide open as he used his fist to block the attack. Once again, Chuck was thrown back by the force.
Yet another loud punch echoed in the room. Eleanor launched another kick that Chuck could not dodge in time. He was sent flying ten meters away and fell hard on the table, rendering him in a terrible state. Red wine and food were scattered all over the ground.
”You’re too slow. I heard that you went to Wolfen Sect to train and even broke your mother’s records? Is this the so-called training in Wolfen Sect? It’s nothing. She watched as Chuck took off the ring on his finger and threw it to the side. Upon impact, it smashed a hole through the ground! The loud impact echoed dully.
Chuck took off the other ring on his finger. Similarly, another hole was formed in the ground. Once again, the impact was very much audible. It was a dull ringing sound.
Finally, Chuck took off the anklets on his feet and threw them on the ground as well. The floor cracked yet again.
The scene was dead quiet. Everyone from the Whitlock family was stunned. Chuck actually had a few hundred pounds of weights on him? All that while, was he fighting Eleanor like that?
Chuck stretched his arms and legs, jumped and stretched his neck. Then, squinting his eyes, he said, ”It’s much easier now. So, Eleanor, allow me to show you my true potential.”
