”For the time being, I’m not certain.” The sensor that Eleanor was equipped with had detection that someone had broken in. However, it didn’t matter. The Whitlock family’s security was the tightest in this entire world. The house was easy to defend but it was hard to intrude. It was useless trying to break in. They would never succeed.
The reason was very simple. It was because this place belonged to the Whitlock family. No one had succeeded in breaking in. Nobody ever succeeded in the past and nobody would be able to in the foreseeable future.
”Eleanor, again and again, you disappoint me,” Adriana uttered coldly.
”I’m sorry, Miss Whitlock. I will get to the bottom of this immediately,” Eleanor replied. The members of the Whitlock family were all talking among themselves. Someone had broken in? Who could it be? Who had the guts to do this?
Chuck took a look outside. Who was the intruder? He wasn’t sure, but one thing for sure was that Chuck wanted Adriana dead. As Chuck pulled Yvette behind him, he could tell that she was weak from all the suffering she had endured. Chuck wanted to take her and leave, but how? When Chuck came to the Whitlock family home, he was ready to die. Because given Chuck’s current situation, the only way he could deal with Adriana was if he died too.

”Alright.”
”Hubby, are you the one who arranged for someone to intrude?” Yvette asked.
”No, I didn’t engage anyone.” Chuck denied it. He did not even arrange for Betty to tag along. In fact, he forced Betty to stay out of it.
”Then, perhaps that person is also an enemy of Adriana’s.”
”Well, that’s possible.” Chuck shrugged his shoulders. He had lost his focus.
Suddenly, Sabina turned to look at him. She wanted to get closer.
Chuck shook his head. He wanted to die with Adriana. So why did Sabina want to get close? With Adriana’s death, Sabina could control the entire Whitlock family! And it wasn’t difficult for Betty to take over all of his mother’s property. It was because Sabina would definitely not manipulate Betty. In Chuck’s mind, that might have been the best outcome.
But Sabina was about to step forward. Chuck continued to shake his head. Sabina fell silent for a moment and her eyes turned red.
”Chuck, what did you expect?” Adriana smirked slightly. Eleanor had everything under control outside and thus she was not worried. She raised her hand and snapped her fingers. The bodyguards of the Whitlock family approached.
The three bombs were used on the Whitlock family’s bodyguards but it was not enough. Chuck stared at Adriana. An idea flashed in his mind on how he could die with Adriana. However, something happened.
”How could this happen?” Eleanor was puzzled.
”What’s going on?” Adriana asked indifferently.
”There are many skilled martial artists breaking in! And it is? Let me take a closer look.” The equipment in Eleanor’s hands had captured the people who were breaking in and one of them was a woman. Eleanor used the Whitlock family’s network to search her up and she had access to all of her records.
”This is? Scarlet from the Wolfen Sect?” Eleanor’s gaze turned gloomy as she discovered who was breaking in.
”The Wolfen Sect? They dare to march in? Catch them for me. I want to find out who gave the order!” Adriana ordered stonily.
”Yes, Miss Whitlock. I’ll take care of it right away.”
Boom! Suddenly, something came flying over. It destroyed the Whitlock family’s line of protection. Eleanor’s beautiful eyes twitched.
”You think you’re so great because you can do this?” Eleanor was indifferent. She took out a sniper rifle and aimed it at a helicopter outside.
Bang! She pulled the trigger. Bullets fired like crazy. She hit the fuel tank of the plane. Her aim was terrifyingly good. The plane exploded. However, a person jumped off the plane and brought a parachute with her.
Swoosh! This person glided down. Eleanor smirked disdainfully and pulled the trigger. Thud! Bullets fired like crazy again. But none of them hit her. Eleanor furrowed her brows. She always had perfect marksmanship, so why couldn’t she hit her? What a joke!
She peered through her scope to aim better. However, she was instantly stunned. ”No, it’s impossible. Impossible!”
”Eleanor, what’s wrong? What’s the big deal?” Adriana had always been calm and composed. It didn’t matter if they broke in, because there were so many people in the Whitlock family.
”Sh-she’s still alive!” Eleanor’s eyes were filled with shock!
”Who is still alive?”
”Karen!” Eleanor sucked in a breath of cold air.
