Chapter 910
All of the Whitlock family’s bodyguards appeared. Adriana sneered while Eleanor had a vengeful look in her eyes. However, Chuck was calm and composed.
Sabina clenched her fists. She wanted to give Chuck a hand.
”So what if Chuck can fight? There are so many bodyguards present. Can Chuck defeat all of them? Such a fool. He is still going to die at her hands!” Xandra spoke furiously. Chuck was a brainless guy. How could he fight so many people by himself? Did he think that he was immortal? The crowd sighed. Osford sighed too.
”I succeeded again.” Chuck suddenly guffawed. However, his laughter was vindictive. ”If you think that saying this is humiliating to me then you have succeeded. However, I am not affected in the slightest bit, but you are now going to get captured.”
Adriana was back to her usual nonchalant and unperturbed self. Was there anything that could make her change her mind? No, there wasn’t.
”No, didn’t you go with me to the Yeager family? Are you not aware of what I did during Loomis’s wedding?” Chuck smiled. However, he was laughing and gnashing his teeth.
Sabina instantly thought of something. She understood what he meant.
Adriana frowned. “Oh, you are right. When Loomis and Willa were to get married, didn’t you bring a bomb that had not been tested?”
”A bomb?”
”What? He has a bomb? That’s impossible!” The entire Whitlock family was in an uproar.
”That’s right and guess how many I brought this time? I can tell you that there is definitely more than one.” Chuck grinned.
”Oh, how many of them are there?” Adriana maintained a lazy smirk.
”Well, I will show you one.” Chuck took out one and threw it at Adriana. However,
Adriana did even twitch and she did not retreat a single step. Because someone jumped over and grabbed hold of the bomb. It was like he was not afraid of death. Bang! The bomb exploded. Flesh and blood splattered everywhere. The bomb resulted in a cloud of bloody fog.
All of the Withlock family members were stunned.
Chuck’s eyes turned cold.
”How many more? Continue.” Adriana smiled as she walked over. ”Do you know why the Whitlock family has been the best hidden family for so long? It is because each and every one of the Whitlock family members are not afraid of dying. Go on. Keep throwing.”
”This isn’t good.” Sabina’s expression instantly turned stony.
”Chuck brought bombs with him? What a lunatic! Is he going to blast us to death?” Xandra was infuriated.
”I have to say, you have some brains. It’s exactly like back then when you single-handedly controlled the entire Yeager family. However, I’m not Loomis, so I won’t be fooled. Before throwing more bombs, I want to show you something. After that, you might become obedient. Eleanor, why don’t you bring her out?” Adriana smiled slightly.
Eleanor went away to escort someone.
”Could it be…” Sabina was dumbfounded.
Chuck’s eyes were trembling. Wh-who was it?
Eleanor dragged somebody out. And yes, it was Yvette!
”Honey, you are still alive?” Chuck was dumbfounded. His eyes were bloodshot and tears started pouring down. Chuck was crying! He thought that the person with whom he had grown up had died. He was heartbroken. However, she was standing right in front of him. But… she looked haggard and her lips were pale… However, she was still so gorgeous.
”So it really is Yvette,” Sabina muttered to herself.
”Hubby…” Yvette cried. When she saw Chuck again, she had no more regrets.
Chuck became fed up. ”Adriana, let her go!” Chuck was exasperated.
”Let her go? Why should I listen to you? Put down all the bombs in your hands and I’ll let Yvette go.” Adriana smirked.
”No.” Yvette shook her head with streams of tears on her face. If he dropped the bombs, he was going to die.
”Chuck, don’t drop the bomb, don’t!” Sabina added.
Chuck clenched his fists and stared at the haggard Yvette. His heart ached for her. ”My wife, she’s still alive. She’s still alive…”
”Chuck, I’ve lost my patience. You think I’m Loomis? No one can toy with me! Put down all the bombs in your hands. Hurry up!”
”No, don’t…” Yvette was eager to kill herself.
”Yvette, you dare!” Chuck bellowed.
”I dare. I dare.” Yvette shook her head. ”I’m satisfied with seeing you just once more. Avenge Karen. You have to…”
”Adriana. These are all of my bombs. These are all of them.” There were a bunch of bombs in Chuck’s hands. Yvette was desperate.
”No.” Adriana smirked and said, ”Well, go and get those bombs.”
”Yes, Miss Whitlock.” A man walked over and Chuck put down the bomb in his hand.
”Let her go.”
”No. I don’t trust you. There must be more bombs hidden on you. Search him!” Adriana smiled lazily. That person searched Chuck’s body but there were no more bombs.
”It’s over.” Sabina sighed.
”Chuck, you son of a b*tch. Why did you hand over the bombs? You killed us all!” Xandra was furious.
”Let her go.” Chuck spoke coldly.
”Alright, I’ve always kept my promise. Eleanor, let her go.” Adriana shrugged her shoulders.
Eleanor let go of Yvette.
Yvette approached Chuck step by step. All she wanted was to be in Chuck’s arms. She was not afraid of dying. She just wished for Chuck to get out of this alive. However, that wasn’t the end.
Adriana suddenly grinned. She raised her hand and snapped her fingers. Bang! Suddenly, a fiery bullet shot out of somewhere. It was coming straight at Yvette!
”No!!” Chuck roared with rage. Yvette stopped. She was not afraid of dying. She felt guilt for being in Chuck’s way.
Bang! Somebody fell to the ground.
Chuck was dumbfounded.
Sabina was taken aback.
Osford’s eyeballs nearly fell out of his eye sockets. In front of him was a pool of blood. ”Chadrick, it’s Chadrick!”
Yvette turned around. There was a man on the ground and the bullet was in his body. He laid on the ground. Then, he spat out a mouthful of blood.
”This is? Chadrick? How did he get in?” Adriana frowned.
”I…Impressive. He managed to sneak in,” Eleanor lowered her head and said.
Chuck ran over, tears streaming down his face. ”Chadr… Dad, Dad.” Chuck applied pressure on Chadrick’s wound, yet Chadrick kept bleeding profusely. Chadrick’s face was pale. Yet, he was at ease and said, “This is all I can do. I’m sorry… Karen, I’m coming to you. Please forgive me…”
”Dad!” Chuck grabbed Chadrick’s hand tightly and burst into tears instantly.
”Adriana! Adriana!” Chuck’s eyes emanated a frosty glare. With his bloodshot eyes, he looked like a roaring wild beast.
Adriana was very proud of herself. ”Chuck, you can’t beat me!”
”Really?” Chuck put his finger into his mouth and produced three bombs. They were hidden in his mouth because they were tiny and could be concealed.
Adriana frowned. ”Only three? That’s useless. Catch the two of them for me.”
”Yes, Miss Whitlock.”
The members of the Whitlock family were not afraid of dying. However, Eleanor’s expression suddenly changed. She turned around and glanced in a different direction.
”What’s wrong?” asked Adriana, her eyebrows furrowed together.
”Someone is intruding into the Whitlock family home.” Eleanor’s expression was gloomy.
”Who is it?” Adriana’s beautiful eyes were cold.
